Moonstone and Onyx Necklace
Materials:
Instructions: Determine the finished length of your necklace (mine is 28"). Add 2 inches to this length and cut a piece of beading wire that size. Attach one part of the clasp to one end of the beading wire, using a crimp tube. Alternate stringing seed beads with moonstone chips. Because of the irregularity of the chips, you will need to measure the spacing rather than count beads. String approximately 2 inches of moonstone chips and seed beads. String a 4mm spacer bead, an onyx bead, and another 4mm spacer bead. Continue this pattern until you have reached the desired length of your necklace, measuring to ensure uniform length between onyx beads. Finish the necklace by attaching the other end of the clasp, using a crimp tube. |
