Pictures, saying, or poems printed

poster board or very thin cardboard

White craft glue

Foam brush

Scissors

Instructions:

Trim the poster board to fit the protector before you arrange your collage.

Collect a variety of pictures, poems and sayings to use on your place mats. Cut them out and arrange them on the poster board in a pleasing manner.

Use the foam brush to apply a thin layer of white craft glue to the back of the items and smooth them onto the poster board as you like. Allow to dry completely.

When dry place the collage into the protective cover and use.

These place mats can be made for everyday family meals or make them for special occasions. Birthdays with picture of the birthday person through the years. Wedding showers with flowers and pictures of the Bride and groom. New Years showing pictures of the events of the previous year. How many more occasions can you think of to decorate these place mats.
