Materials:

Picture of flower

Card stock or heavy paper

Magnet tape

White craft glue

Water based varnish

Paint brush

Scissors

Instructions:

Print out the page of pictures on card stock or heavy paper. Cut the pictures apart.

With a paint brush apply thin layer of white craft glue to the back of each picture. Press a piece of magnet strip on to the back of each picture. Allow to dry.

When dry, paint the picture with water based varnish. Allow to dry then paint a second layer of varnish and let it dry completely.

You can paint the back of the picture except where the magnet strip covers it for additional protection.

These pretty magnets make nice gifts for mom, grandmothers and teachers.
