Trace the pattern pieces on the felt. Two ears and the face on the wrong side of the tan felt. The two body pieces on the wrong side of the brown felt.
Cut out the body, face and ears.
Using the toothpick and white craft glue draw a thin line around both sides and the top of one body piece, position the second body piece on top of the glued piece forming a pocket. Glue the ears to the closed end of the pocket using the picture to help with placement.
Glue the eyes and pom pom to the face using the picture as your guide then glue the face to the top front of the body as shown in the picture. The chenille stem is glued across the lower back just above the opening. Allow to dry.
When dry insert the pencil and tightly wrap the colored floss twice around the monkey about 3/4" from the bottom and knot to hold him on the pencil. Trim the ends of the floss.
