CRAFTY VISIONS Newsletter Published by World Wide Visions
Hi Fellow Crafters, Valentine's Day is almost here! HELP! More Sweets! It seems like that is all my kids have been eating since Halloween (one actually still has some Halloween candy left!). First the Halloween candy, then all the winter holiday cookies and now more! In this issue you will find seasonal crafts and many other fun projects. And so you and your kids don't have sugar withdraws there is a sweet kitchen craft.. .Valentine Sugar Cookies! Thank you for reading our newsletter and feel free to check out all our back issues which are full of projects for all seasons! Please take some time thank our friends at Bluebonnet Crafters for all the wonderful projects found in this months issue. Sincerely,
# 1. In place of sandpaper when preparing Shrink Plastic to accept the color you can use cleansing powder. Rub the powder over the entire area of the Shrink Plastic and then wipe off completely. This gives the same "tooth" as sandpaper. # 2. Most crafts that call for fun foam can be made with either construction paper, fabric or felt. # 3. A paper lunch sack and a piece of foam cut in the shape of a heart along with some water based markers make a handy carry for the children's Valentine card exchange. Fold over the top, punch 2 holes and add a tie for a cookie gift package.
