![]() Instructions: Place a small amount of glue in the center of cardboard circle, center the batting circle over the cardboard circle and press into glue. Allow to dry. Iron the flesh colored fabric to the shiny side of the freezer paper. Paint or color the features on your fabric circle allow paint to dry or set color. Run a gathering stitch 1/4" in from the edge of the face circle, center on the batting side of your prepared cardboard circle and gather the fabric tightly around the cardboard. Tie off the gathering thread, do not cut thread yet. Stitch back and forth around the circle to anchor the gathered circle, now tie off. Stitch of glue the doll hair around the face arranging in the style of your choice. Fold the hat strip of fabric in half wrong sides together, run a gathering stitch along the raw edge and gather to reach from below the ear site on one side across the top to below the ear on the other side. Glue of stitch in place. Fold the raw ends toward the back and glue or stitch in place. Stitch or glue the bow or lace at the neck area. Add the embellishments to decorate the hat and add earrings. Stitch the pin back to the upper center of the felt or Ultra suede circle. Glue or stitch the felt circle to the back of the doll pin face. She is ready to wear, trade or become a gift. |
