: Was wondering if anyone has ever tried sell there yard art? How much do you charge for it? I am going to try and sell some that I have the patterns for, but I am stuck on a price. I have the Joseph and Mary on a donkey, plus a sled and Reindeer.
: If any one could help me I would be very grateful.
Hi Jo,
I don't have a formula, but have been selling yard art for about 6 years now. I can tell you that I do not make an hourly wage. If you want to get an idea of MY prices visit my website listed below. It is a work in progress, and I have only a very few of the many things that I make on my website. I plan to update my site in the near future. I believe my prices are very reasonable in comparison to others that I have seen on the internet. I make a Polar Bear with Santa on his back that I sell for $45.00 (don't think I have this one on the net because of his size which is hard to ship.) He is about 45 inches long and 35 inches high. I saw the same pattern recently on another site, and the price was $169.00. You just have to price them to sell. If they sell too quickly, you will know that you are not pricing them high enough, and if they don't sell, you will have to drop your price or discontinue making that item. Hope this helps.
