Help identifying this doll? Plastic-2ft tall-circa60s-Disney-(Wendy)?

I've been a long time Peter Pan collector and I came across this doll on ebay.com and I'm curious to know if anyone could possibly tell me anything more about its origin.

The doll 24" tall, vinyl, and has weighted eyes. The back of the neck is marked WENDY and the seller believed that it is Wendy from Peter Pan. It also says Walt Disney Prod. The hair VERY much resembles Wendy's from Disney's Peter Pan (parted in the front and short curls in the back) but I've been collecting Disney for decades and have never seen a set of Disney dolls like this one. I tried to find similar Disney character dolls like maybe Alice or Cinderella, but I couldn't find anything.

She looks a lot like some of my mother's large vinyl dolls from the late 50s-early 60s so maybe it was from then? Disney's Peter Pan was released in the 50s, but this doll does not look that old unless it is just well preserved.
