Central Ohio scrappers -- I want to get the word out about this really cool charity crop!
Ridgewood Elementary School in Hilliard is hosting a fundraising crop to benefit the school's television station, WRKN. It is a daily news show that is run entirely by 4th and 5th grade students. I am a 5th grade teacher at Ridgewood, advisor for WRKN and an avid scrapbooker. We thought we would try something different instead of the usual bake sale. A crop was the perfect idea!
The crop will be on Friday, February 24 from 6 to 10 pm. There will be tons of door prizes and drawings including two $25 gift cards to Garden Ridge, a $50 gift card to Dave and Busters and hundreds of scrapbooking giveaways. Food and bake sale items will be available all evening. A Creative Memories and Tastefully Simple consultant will be on hand all evening with samples, giveaways and classes. If you've ever wanted to learn to make a paper bag album, our scrapbooking pro will hold classes all evening.
Ridgewood Elementary School is at 4237 Dublin Road in Hilliard. The cost is $10 advance registration, $12 at the door and families of 3 or more (children under 18) are $25. For advance registration forms or questions, please email me at ridgewoodscrapbooking@verizon.net
