: : Been away from dolls for a while and wonder what to use these days to paint white teeth? Used to use a little blue bottle of something, but can't remember ...HELP
: You can use a product called Pearly White available from Bells Ceramics. You paint it on the greenware before high firing. I mixed a little temper paint into the paint to change the color from white to pink so that I could see where I painted it. The temper paint fires out and doesn't affect the product. You can also mix a little plastisizer with white porcelain and paint it on the teeth before pouring, then band the mold and the pour with the regular slip. This technique is what we used to pour cameos. Both work great. Katherine

Hi! Katherine, I am learning and was wondering why the pastisizer in the white slip? I appreciate your help, Barb
