Thanks Kaye,

The Nordquist red is iron based and if fired multiple times goes brown even at ^018. I've ordered 1/2lb. of the 61176 red from Reusche (what in the world will I do with 1/2 lb.)and it is lead based so it will fire true, even in multiple firings. If anyone is interested I have about 100 new glass vials with screw-on lids, I will share this with them, in the neighborhood of $3.50 to $3.75 per vial. This color is a great lip color for the French repros.

: Ed, Try Nordquist's True Red. It's a little touchy, so follow her directions to the letter! It WILL go brown if fired to hot or to many times, but if you follow her instructions, it fires a beautiful bright red..RED
: Hope this helps,
: Kaye

: : The color that replaced the lead based Real Red doesn't work - it goes brown. Does anyone know of a source for lead based reds? Thanks
