The same, porcelain is fired to bisque. From a collectors point of view I think the term bisque is correct. If I am not correct I am sure someone will jump in and tell different!!! In my item descriptions for molds that I sell I will always tell that a doll is "all bisque" rather then "all porcelain" . Hope this helps!
