When I was a little girl in the late 50's, my mother had a doll that my father had given to her when they were dating. She let me play with it after many years of my begging and alas, I ruined it. From my recollection, she was beautiful and had blonde ringlets and blue sleepy eyes. She wore a blue or aqua gown, possibly made of taffeta or maybe velvet and had shoes/boots that were white. I believe it would have been made in the late 40's or early 50's. I would love to see if I could find a replacement for my mom after all these years but don't know where to start- can any one help me identify what doll she was or who might have manufactured her?
