I bought a PPP doll in the 60's for my niece that was exactly like the one you describe. I specifically remember the teardrop on her cheek. I thought the doll's body was cloth not plastic. She was my niece's favorite toy but my sister threw her away when my niece left home. I have been looking for a doll just like her, but all I see are the all plastic ones with no teardrop on their cheeks. If you found one let me know. I have not been looking real hard, but would like to have one to cherish.
