MA Plastic John & Jacqueline Kennedy Set Info Request

I have a set of John and Jacqueline Kennedy Madame Alexander dolls that are made of plastic and are about 12" high. John is dressed in a tuxedo and Jacqui is dressed in her wedding gown. The dolls are in mint condition and in the original box. I have not been able to find any information on either of these, and hope that someone may be able to help me. I would like to know about the time they were made and what they may be worth. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
