I was just sitting here looking through the small collection of my Betsy McCall paperdolls that I cut out myself and played with as a child, and have saved all these years. It's funny to see how painstakingly I tried to cut them all out perfectly, which, of course, they were'nt, but I did surprisingly well for my age, I think now. I must have been a fussy thing! Thought I'd go online and see if I could find out anything about them and saw your posting. What wonderful memories. I can't believe we use to dress them up and play with them and they're not destroyed, just being thin paper. Apparently, I have been fussy forever about preserving the things I saved from my youth and cared about, because they're in really good shape considering. I'd love to hear more about your collection and/or see some pictures too!
