Bisque/China Ginny Doll 1984

I have a china Ginny doll marked Ginny ®, © 1984, Vogue dolls Inc.
She is a strung doll, dressed in a pink lace overlay dress and matching ruffled bonnet, lace ruffled slip and lace trimmed panties, white socks and molded white shoes. She has a blond wig with bangs and long curls, blue sleep eyes (work well) with molded lashes, delicate pink cheeks and pink lips. She is in geat shape except that she is very loose strung.
Does anyone know her history? I'm thinking that, being made of china and not plastic, she might be some kind of special or commemorative edition.
Any idea of her value?
