i found that this works very well for me---i have all my dolls dated back to the eary 50's and some older--also added to my collection--i put warm water in a cup and add my own hair conditioner--if some are bad you can also use vo5 on a tube--what ever you do kind of get any of the remnents out with warm water and a tiny toothed comb--my best hope this helps--pass it on if it works like it has for me---JOANNE
