Any Preferences for Alternatives to eBay and PayPal?

We are really fed up with the greediness of eBay/PayPal, which raised fees 3.5% even though they garnered revenues of over $8 bilion last year, making substantial increases in their profits once again. We think they've just become too big for their britches and aren't listening to their constituents anymore, so, we would really like to go to another site to buy and sell our vintage Vogue dolls. Since eBay has become the place where the largest number of vintage doll collectors are online, we think that if we selected another site collaboratively, instead of dispersing all over the web, we could have better control over how things operate in this industry. Any thoughts or suggestions on where to go? (Also, we just read that Digital River might be a good alternative to PayPal. Anyone have experience using that?)
