1970's purple and white gingham checkered cloth doll

I received a 70's vintage gingham purple and white checkered cloth doll when i was a little girl. She has pink yarn hair. She came with a white eyelet hat (and bloomers i think). This doll also came in pink and blue. This doll is not the cholly doll.
Please help me with the name of these dolls and the company who produced these dolls.
