Hello to all. My name is Barbara Johansen Newman. I am a published children's book author and illustrator, but in the 70's I was a puppeteer and dollmaker.
A seller on ebay was consigned to sell a OOAK doll I created in 1976. She contacted me, had me sign my latest book and is offering the doll and the signed book for auction. I am not making any money on this sale, but I thought I would share the listing it for those of you who look for vintage cloth dolls. This doll was purchased for about $150 in 1976 at the Works Gallery in Philadelphia.
