If you think about it, most likely you can never be compensated for the time it took you to create something-especially carving. A better way to go may be to look around to see what others are charging for similar work and quality. There should be lots of work online that you can look at, or maybe you can ask someone who belongs to a local woodcarvers association. Good luck!
