Hi, If you post a picture, that will help a lot in getting others to help identify your doll. From your description, she could be anywhere from the '20s to the late '40s. There were lots of unmarked dolls during this period. Good luck.
: I have a composition doll I am trying to date. She is all composition with a wig (braided hair), eyes that open and close and teeth. She looks kind of Shirley Temple like but doesn't have the curly hair or dimples. I'm thinking 1930's but I don't know a lot about this type of doll so I could be wrong. I would appreciate help in trying to date her. I couldn't find any markings.
