From your description, she could be anywhere from the '20s to the late '40s. There were lots of unmarked dolls during this period. Good luck. : I have a composition doll I am trying to date. She is all composition with a wig (braided hair), eyes that open and close and teeth. She looks kind of Shirley Temple like but doesn't have the curly hair or dimples. I'm thinking 1930's but I don't know a lot about this type of doll so I could be wrong. I would appreciate help in trying to date her. I couldn't find any markings.
