H- Hook

4-Ply Yarn, Green, White or color of choice

1 – 9” Styrofoam Cone, 1 – 6” round flat Styrofoam disk (Glue cone to disk before putting tree over the cone.) You can also add lights.

FOUNDATION: Starting at tip, Chain 4. Join with sl st to form a ring.

Row 1: Ch 4, Sl st to form a ring. Ch 3 and work 8 dc in ring (9 dc).

Row 2: Ch 3, Work *1 DC in next st, 2 in next st*, continue around, sl st in Ch 3.

Row 3: Ch 6, sc in next 3 dc, repeat around. End with ch 6 sc in last 2 dc. Sl st at base of first loop. This is a loop row.

Row 4: Ch 3, dc in same place as sl st. Holding loop fwd, skip next ch 6 loop, dc in next 2 sc, 2 dc in next sc. Repeat around ending dc in last 2 sc. Sl st in ch 3.

Row 5: Loop Row. Repeat Row 3

Row 6: Ch 3, skip lp, dc in next 3 sc. Repeat around ending dc in last 2 sc. Sl st in Ch 3.

Row 7: Repeat Row 3

Row 8: Repeat Row 4

Row 9: Ch 6, sc in next 4 dc. Repeat around ending sc in last 3 dc. Sl st in sl st of previous row.

Row 10: Ch 3, dc in same place as sl st. Skip next ch 6 lp, dc in next 3 sc, 2 dc in next sc. Repeat around ending dc in last 2 sc. Sl st in ch 3.

Row 11: Repeat Row 9.

Row 12: Ch 3, skip next ch 6 lp, dc in next 4 sc. Repeat around ending with dc in last 3 sc. Sl st in Ch 3.

Row 13: Repeat Row 9

Row 14: Repeat Row 10

Row 15: Ch 6, sc in next 5 dc. Repeat around ending sc in last 4 dc. Sl st in sl st of previous row.
