Hi, I hope some one can please help, I have been trying to hunt down a replacement teddy for around 5 years now. She was hand made in 1987/1988 she is pink and white cotton with puffy arms and legs and round flat ears. I also had a yellow and white one with a red bow tie, I am looking for something very similar however I am not worried about the colour. My father got them for me when I was a day old, he got them from a Hospital in Swindon, England Jan of 88. I still have one of the originals, however she is falling to bits and I want another so I can keep her as a memory of my father. If you have any information, please please please contact me. I am searching for a replacement for my daughters "clown bear". She is 16 and has had it since she was 3 weeks old.She is still very attached to it. I Have tried to sew and fix worn areas several times through out the years, but it is still very well loved. I am hopeful some one has a duplicated that we could share, it will be well loved. I have a 4 foot brown/tan teddy bear with felt, material, or leather fabric paws. Same material is curled in a triangle around his glass red eyes. His snout is two pieces such that your hand can be cupped inside. Snout and inside of ears is not the same material as the rest of his body. Nose and tongue are black. Anyone know who made this bear? Someone donated it to our club and there is no information on it.

I got this girl teddy bear when I was little. I think some time in the eighties. She wore a garden hat a blue dress, With pantaloons, and these huge real work boots. They almost looked like Dr Martians but they were round and light brown. The bear was light brown with a dark brown nose. These boots on this bear were so heavy that when I played with her I spent most of my time putting her boots back on her feet. My daughter has lost a beloved pink and white teddy bear, made of man-made fluffy fabric, with a plastic rattle inside, about 50cm long, with small black button eyes. 2 doll also bridal stands 3 feet tall color scheme of wedding gown is white and powder blue but the blue is very faint, the veil and train once spread out comes to a length of maybe 3 1/2 feet and she has red hair, her style of dress is very victoria i would say and her veil is styled as a semi circle of flowers like a wreath headpiece that a bride would wear her number is #113 on the back of the neck along with the number 200 the name on the back also says rustic and the year of production or casting is 2002. help i need more information and a production photo for the doll so that i know more about her, she was also a gift.

1st doll stands maybe 3 feet tall and has bright red hair she is a bridal doll, her dress style is definitely pre-ninteen 20's i think with ruffles in 3 layers with a baby pink and white blush of color to the veil and dress, the veil spreads out to maybe 2 1/2 to 3 feet in length and the headpiece is in the style of the flapper headbands with a pink rose affixed to the left side of the band, the band is open in the top. on the back if the doll in the neck area it says rustic like it is the artists or makers signature, along with that is the lot number or the numbered piece in the collection of #112 and there is also another number on the neck and that is 200 the year the doll was made or casted is printed on the back of the neck is 2004. please help me find some or any information on this particular doll, so i can get more spec's on her, she was a gift.

HELP! I lost my favorite teddy bear about 5 years ago. It was given to me by my godmother the day I was born. It was made in 1987 and had a heart-beat box inside it. On it's bottom was a velcro pocket that held the battery pack for the bear. It was brown with light brown pads and I think it had a hard, felt-covered nose. I think it may have orginally had a red bow...not sure...It also had a plastic triangle on the left side of it's chest. I think it said either "Sleep-tite" or "Sleep-rite". Would love any information that anyone can give me for finding another!!! I miss my teddy bear! >-.-<

I am searching for my favorite stuffed animal. It is a brown teddy bear with a rubber nose/mouth. It is not jointed but is made to sit. From top to bottom it is probably 12". I'm guessing it was made in 1949/50. The inside of his ears and bottoms of his feet are probably beige. I believe he was probably purchased in Massachusetts.

I'm trying to identify the maker of my favorite Teddy bear that I had from childhood. It's probably from the early 1980s. He has a zipper on the back with a cord for a 9 volt battery. There's a small light on his chest. There's also a round brown patch on his left paw. His mouth is open with a felt tongue hanging out. I want to "unlock the mystery" of this bear. I can't make out any of the reading on the tag other than a cartoon pic of a bear. I don't know if he talked or if the light just lit up, as far back as I can remember, he's always been unable to do anything. I appreciate any information anyone can give me. I have a stuffed animal that I received as a gift when I was born which was in 1985. He is in a sort of sitting position like most stuffed animals and has long floppy ears like a rabbit, but looks like a dog. He had a rainbow patch on his stomach but mine has been chewed up by animals a few times so my Mother had to replace it with a heart patch. I slept with him every single night and called him "Puppy". I always liked the feel of his ears and was constantly rubbing them. I rubbed his ears so much that he doesn't have ears left. He has glass black eyes and a oval nose. I am looking for a stuffed animal dog that was given to me as a gift in 1985 when I was born. It had long ears, black circle eyes and a oval nose. I'm not exactly sure what the mouth looked like because my Mother put a new one on when I was little. I believe it had a rainbow patch on its stomach and it didn't have a tail that I know of, unless that too fell off when I was really young. I rubbed its ears all my life until there were no ears left. I would love to find this same stuffed dog as it really means a lot to me. If anyone has any information on where I could get one it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hi, I am desperately searching for a Friendzies stuffed yellow duck that came from a Marshall Fields store in 2004. It is medium sized, bright yellow with orange feet and beak. I am searching for a North American Bear Co. stuffed toy called Cat's Pajamas. The "Cats Pajamas" consist of a stuffed cat covered with gray fur, a pink nose, plastic eyes, and dressed in a pink and white striped two-piece pajama set. The cat's pajama top has a small pocket and two round white plastic buttons in the front. A tag is attached on the back of the cat that reads in part "Cat Pajamas #1162, North American Bear Co., Inc." My sister had hers from 5 years of age until 13, when it was stolen during a car robbery. She's autistic, and it would mean a lot to her. We are looking for this green bear that was purchased at the Dollartree discount store in 2006. The picture shows a very loved and washed bear with matted fur. The fabric originally was soft, smooth and shiny before many washings. Length 20" to 24" with a green silk bow at the neck. Color must be this bright, lime, kermit the frog color of green. When I was young I had lost my favorite bear on a long road trip... I can't seem to find a duplicate anywhere. He was originally from a retail chain by the name of "Alexander's" he was purchased in 1987. My son adopted my old bedtime companion "Brownie" as his favorite teddy bear. Unfortunately, Brownie has started to show the wear of being the companion of a little boy. HELP! Back in 1991, I bought a teddy bear from Circus Circus MGM. The teddy bear has been with me since I was a child, and is starting to deteriorate. I am searching for a bear approximately 10-12 inches tall, gold colored, curly "fur", rubber (vinyl ?) molded face and paws.It's arms and legs were non-jointed, just kinda stuck out from the body. I am trying to identify my gund teddy bear. He is a whitish/grey 16" mohair (I believe)jointed bear with a light tan or pinkish color thread nose. His paws are a light tan color made from what I believe is mohair. The tag is black and says Gund Collectors Classic , Gund Inc. 1986. I have a brown teddy bear that I have had since I was born (1979) it is made of a rough textured coat, his nose, paw pads and foot pads and inside ears are a slightly lighter shade. He has very simple lines, black/brown "glass eyes", simple black stiched nose. There are no tags or marks to tell me where he came from or what company produced him. I would just like to know more about this bear.

I have two strange looking teddybears I've ever met. Their bodies are in red checks clothes with two zips on the front body and another zip on the back, wearing punk collar. One has electric green color mohock style hair and another with electric blue color. They all have no tag on them. But I remember first time I had got the blue green one it had a swing tag with the word 'Darby' If any body know any information of these two strange teddybears, please let me know.

Hi, I am desperately looking for a teddy bear i had when i was young (approx 25 years ago). He is approx 22 inches long with multi-coloured horizontal stripes from the belly button down, He has long light blue arms with brown hands, long legs with multi-coloured stripes on them, brown feet and long brown ears. 2 eyes, black nose (dog-type nose) and a little red tongue where his mouth is. It had an orange heart on one cheak adn a yellow heart on the other cheak. it had a yellow sailor sute with velvet heart. it has legs that dangle with white, orange, and yellow strips, and brown shoes. HELP!!!! I am in search of a stuffed yellow lion that was sold at Target stores in early 2003. In a "new" condition he is plump and yellow with small white spots, velcro on paws with an orange mane and black bead-type eyes. My son is going on 5 (I know!!) and had had this lion since he was tiny, his lion is about to give up the ghost if you know what I mean. hello! i am a newbie in the teddy bear making world. i was wondering if someone could help me out. i've learned how to make all of my own teddy bear patterns, tbat seem to be going over very well. but i was looking for something new to try. i was wondering if anyone new where i could find a pattern that uses a center seam head pattern. i love the look, but don't know how to create one on my own. if anyone knows where i could find one on the web just to use as a guide, i would greatly appreciate a response. i am only used to the head pattern that uses a gusset. the center seam doesn't have one. they look like the very old bears when completed, and that is the kind of look i'd like to work on. thank you in advance for any help that you can give! take care everybody!
