Bru Bebes' I'm not sure. Help Please!

Bru-R, 6mm pewter eyes, (Jne), 16", Been in family for decades(got from grandma), Head arms legs are bisque, leather all else. No hair or pate. What confounds me is that it is "Bru-Kne" is molded in to back of head. But also it is hand engraved into back of head "Bru-Jne" Is this a transitional doll or a repro. It also has a two circles with a circular dot below left circle. Can anyone help me.
