My family just went through a home fire where everything was destroyed. Included in that is an old doll that came from my grandmother that we have no idea of how to determine its value. I have attached pictures of the doll and I am hoping that someone might be able to help us identify what it is/ maybe even its value?

We were told that it is a French doll that was used for either children or maybe even nursing for training with newborns. The doll is heavy, like a real newborn. Is about the size of a newborn and is anatomically accurate. The outside is a sort of ‘rubber’ feeling but the doll definitely has some sort of very solid shell underneath. The arm and leg joints are very flexible while the head and neck are more ‘real-like’ in how a newborn feels.

I can certainly get more pictures if necessary. I have looked over the doll and cannot find any markings for a manufacturer or brand.

I appreciate any help that someone can provide.
