I have come across a three face doll also. One face is happy, one sad and another sleeping. The doll I have doesn't have a knob on top of her head. It's just a plastic cover for the hole on top of her head from making the doll.
I've never seen anything like this doll. Do you still have yours? The body of mine is also soft.
The head and hands are porcelain. Have you even received any other information since you posted back in March 09?
