Doll marked TA CHIN

I am wondering why I cannot find any information on porcelain/china dolls with a mark inlaid on their neck TA CHIN?? I've spent too long doing searches and coming up with nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
P.S: also trying to find the approximate age of a Dee Cee doll with a full composite body, wig and blinking eyes. She is about 13.5 inches long.
