Need to photograph a Horsman "Peggy Ann" dollPosted by Debbie Nathan on September 01, 2009 at 18:35:07:
Hello, I hope someone at this forum can help me! I'm a writer, working on a book for a major New York publisher. I'd like to create a cover for this book, using a photograph of one or more Horsman "Peggy Ann" dolls from circa 1930. This particular doll is related to the topic of my book in a very interesting way, as the very famous woman I'm writing about played with Horsmans during the early 1930s, when she was a child, and the dolls apparently had a big effect on her. At this point I just want to get my editor interested in the image so she can decide if she wants her art department to get some dolls and photograph them. If you have a Peggy Ann doll and a digital camera, I would be glad to pay you a modest amount of $$ to take a reasonably good quality photo and send to me. I do not intend to publish it: like I said, just show it to my editor. Thanks!!! Please email me at naess2@gmail.com
