After slightly peeling back the leather body, I do see that it says 18/0 and not the 187 as I stated before. I dont really want to peel it back any farther though.

: We also have a "Ruth" doll: the back of the shoulders says "Ruth" in a formalized script. Beneath that it says "10/0" and below that, just at the very bottom of the bisque part, is small script that I cannot read. I think it says something and then "Germany." Does yours have anything just at the bottom of the bisque back?

: : Hello,
: : I aquired an antique doll from my grandmother that has a bisque head, arms and hands. The Body is made of glove leather. Both legs are broken off, one is missing. She is stuffed with sawdust. There is also one shoe. She has blond braided hair. She is wearing a blue dress. The bisque is in good condition, no chips. Her mouth is open exposing her teeth. On the back of the shoulder area it says Ruth, just below I believe it says 187. Can anyone tell me about this doll? Thank you for your time.
