Clothing Repair: Yes or No?

I just aquired two dolls with original clothing. My question is this: should I make repairs to the clothing? By repairs I mean mending some seam separation and small tears; also, perhaps replacing faded flowers and feathers on a bonnet. Or should I just leave things as they are?
