I bought this doll from a lady in Australia. She told me she bought it from a lady in England. I cannot seem to find any doll that is similar in appearance and I would love to learn more about her. The composition body is a darker shade than most of the German antique comp. dolls and the hands and limbs are thicker. She appears to have googly eyes that move from side to side. Her hands look almost carved. She is adorable but I also do not know whether or not her clothing is original. Can anyone out there identify this doll or her origin? Any help would be appreciated. I thought I could upload a picture. Apparently not.
