I have had a few of these that I have now sold. they are so unique and pretty sure most of them would be close to one of a kind.. my information from the first buyer was that these dolls were made for a union organization in NY... Her father was in a union labor job and he brought one home for his daughter... that is the only information I have on this bell shaped doll... and the dolls seem to be leaning more towards the late 50s.... she sounds beautiful and hope you are keeping her in the family........Penny

: I have a small white gound doll that I am trying to do research on for my mom. She got it in the mid 60's as a chrismas gift.
: It is labeled active doll corp. New York on the bottom stamped into the paper..then stamped in ink is bride. I know this is similar to the A & H Doll company's design....did the A and H company change their name in the 60's? does anyone have any info on this doll?
: It is similar to all the other dolls that come in the "bell" shape. She has reddish hair, fair complexion..skinny face, not a chubby baby doll face. Rosy cheeks. Eyes open and close. Dress has peachy/white designed top. Bottom is single layer white. She has a bow around her midsection...lace tied in the front. I can send a pix if anyone has any info on it :) Thanks :)
