2 walking dolls

I have 2 walking dolls form the 1950's that I need information on. They were manufactured in New York, NY. The names on the boxes are Wendy and Bobby Jo. My mother won them as prizes at the Bloomsburg Fair in Pennsylvania. Can the hair be replaced on them?
