Antique Doll from 1950???

I have a doll that was my mother's. She gave it to my daughter and we are trying to find out information on it. What I do know is that it was given to her in October/November 1950 when her father died. I have a link attached with pictures of the doll. My mother recalls that it had a bottle that she could give it water and it would wet through the hole in the rear. Other than that, we know nothing. There are no markings anywhere on the body. I have even tried to look on the inside and have been unable to locate any markings. My mom grew up in the NYC/Jersey City area, so the doll may have come from that area. Again, I am unsure. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
