Need info: "The Emma Doll" made in ItalyPosted by Helene on February 04, 2008 at 15:24:29:
Please help! I am looking for information about "The Emma Doll" made in Italy. I have 4 beautiful compo heads, no bodies. One is stamped in blue/grey ink "The Emma Doll Italy", two are marked (handwritten in red paint) "The Emma Doll" and fourth is unmarked but definitely an Emma. They represent children and have beautifully sculpted painted hair and painted eyes. I bought them together as a lot; 2 boy/girl pairs, one pair is a smaller size than the other. They are socket heads. Has anyone seen these or have any info? Does anyone know of a website or reference book to check? Does anyone know a doll collector in Italy that I could correspond with? If needed, I may be able to post a picture. Thanks.
