The doll is Soozie Smiles and was offered as a subscription premium with January 1923 Needlecraft magazine. It was a very popular doll and was in the 1924 Sears catalog. The doll originally had a tag attached to its romper suit from Ideal Novelty & Toy Company. The ninth edition of Doll Values places the dolls value (with original clothing and the original tag) in the $375 - $425 range. This value will vary widely of course. Hope this helps a bit.
